Trooper Galayum "Night Rider" Taylor

Name: GALAYUM TAYLOR
Road Name: NIGHT RIDER
Iron Horse: MY STALLION IS A 2006 HONDA SHADOW
Bio: A product of Houston, TX and educated at Prairie View A&M University. Being excited to venture out into the world, but yet
frustrated in the job prospects, I enlisted in the Military. Now retired and residing in Central Texas for which I now call home. I came by the
name of Night Rider by traveling I-10 to Louisiana, to HWY 77 to Fort Polk La. in the wee hours of the night…therefore Night Rider was
born as he and his trusted Mustang burned many trails, using his CB to clear the path. Now my trails are set by my Steel Horse!
Not one to join clubs or organizations without true merits, it was a no brainer to become a member of the BSMC. I was inspired by the
history and legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers and their contributions. Plus It offers me the opportunity to fellowship with people that have the
same interest as I (Motorcycles and Amateur Radio). More importantly, the club inspires maintaining the badge of courage, sacrifice and
honor of those that we honor by educating those that are not aware of the accomplishments, sacrifices, hardship, and never ending racism that
they endured as Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. Their history is a part of reality, yet history has ignored their contributions to
our Nation. As a Soldier I will do my part to keep their legacy alive. Be it through community services, charity work or educational
programs.
Long live the Buffalo Soldier….
