Introducing our dedicated founders, Kevin and Sharon Briscoe, staking a claim to a patch of land in
Belton, Texas. The Briscoe's are survivors of Hurricane Ike and migrated inland to Central Texas
landing at the door steps of Fort Hood, home of the 9th & 10th Calvary.
Radar and Storm were already members of the Houston Texas chapter and felt their love of the hobby of
motorcyling and community service must continue. With this in mind, they requested to become a
Member-At-Large, which allowed for the founding of our Killeen Texas chapter.
Demonstrating their character and the kind of members that make up our organization, Radar and
Storm performed a valuable community service during Hurricane Ike. They utilized their skills
as HAM radio operators KE5CDE(Radar) and KE5CFF(Storm) providing needed communication services
to their community during a time of total power and communications failure. Their heroic actions
can be read about by clicking The Galveston County Daily News link below.
